Enabling Tettra's AI Features
Tettra's AI features are only available on our Scaling and Professional plans. Learn more about our plans here and please reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
To start using Kai, Tettra's AI bot, enable it in your Account Settings and then in Slack.
1. Enable Kai in Tettra
- Click on your team name on the top left to access the menu and choose Team settings.
- Click on Admin settings.
- After reviewing the terms of service, check the box next to Enable AI features.
- Be sure to click Update admin settings.
2. Enable Kai in Slack
After you have set up the Slack integration, choose some categories to link Kai, the AI bot, to automatically answer questions and automatically summarize Slack threads. For more information, see:
You can select any Slack channel and customize the AI features on that channel, right from within your Tettra Team Settings.
Navigate to Team Settings
Step 1: Click on the team name on the top left.
Step 2: Choose Team settings.
Step 3: Click on Team integrations.
Step 4: Scroll to the "Find answered questions in Slack." (Be sure you have already enabled the Slack integration.)
Step 5: Click Select Slack Channels.
Choose Slack Channels
Click on the text box to show a list of Slack channels. Type in the title of a channel to find it quickly.
Slack channels you choose here will not affect the Slack channels you have linked to categories in Tettra.
Choose Integration Type
By default, both AI Question Capture & AI Auto Answers are checked and enabled. Click the checkboxes to disable either feature, if that's your preference.
You'll see that you now have messages from Kai in the Slack channels you enabled.
Kai is now ready to answer questions for you and summarize Slack discussions!
