Sometimes you might have categories in Tettra that you don't want Kai to use when generating answers to questions asked in Tettra or in integrated Slack channels.
Only users with an Admin or Editor user role have the ability to limit the categories that Kai indexes and the setting is applied for the entire account.
Click to the Kai Dashboard from the navigation menu.
Click on the Documents indexed tab.
In the table row for Tettra, you'll see a comma separated list of categories being excluded from Kai. In the below screenshot, Auto Industry and Dealerships are excluded categories.
Click the Edit Kai categories button.
Click on the Search categories input.
Start typing to search for a specific category or scroll through the dropdown to find a specific category. Click on that category to add to the list.
After selecting the categories you wanted to exclude, click the Save button.
You'll now see the updated list of excluded categories.
Click the x next to a specific category to remove that specific category or click the larger x above the Save button to remove all categories. You'll need to click the Save button to save your changes.
No, any existing question and generated answer will remain. To regenerate an answer to that question, you will need to delete the question and ask it again, or delete the saved answer from Kai and regenerate an answer.
Yes, but any existing question and generated answer that uses a now excluded document will remain.
No, but you are able to add invite-only categories to the list of excluded categories.
