Contributor Role Overview

Tettra lets you invite users to contribute to your knowledge base without granting access to account-level settings and features. By assigning your subject-matter experts as Contributors, you can let your teammates still edit your content without sacrificing security or organizational structure.

The Contributor user role is only available on the Scaling and Professional plans. Learn more about our plans here.

All user types (regardless of role) will be considered in your account's overall user count.

Contributors can:

  • create and edit pages
  • comment and react to pages
  • create page requests
  • ask questions

Contributor restrictions:

Contributors are restricted from making account level changes like the following:

  • create and edit categories
  • inviting and managing users
  • change permissions
